About the Role:
Join Tiny Tots Learning Ministry as the Director, where you will lead a passionate team dedicated to nurturing young minds in a loving and educational environment. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of early childhood education in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and educational programs.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive team culture.
- Engage with parents and the community to build strong relationships and promote the ministry's mission.
- Monitor and manage budgetary needs, including tuition rates and funding opportunities.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and implement strategies for improvement.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all children.
- Maintain Social Media Accounts
- Transportation of Children
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, parents, and the community.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for children of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to the mission of Tiny Tots Learning Ministry.
- Driver's License
